Who's Steve LaTourette?
Steve LaTourrette is an award-winning stylist. For 32 years he’s been married to Kathy, whose personalized license plates read “Mrs. Hair.”

Steve LaTourrette is a real ladies man. As a salon owner and stylist since 1962 he’s made more than one generation of women look beautiful. His favorite local restaurant, Tito Macaroni is a lot like his salon, with a casual and upbeat atmosphere.

“It’s great for the family, kids can even make their own pizzas,” Steve says. When son, Beau was married in August, the LaTourrettes tapped Tito’s to cater the rehearsal dinner on one of the Lake Coeur d’Alene cruise boats.

Steve loves to dine at Tito’s during downtown events like Art Walk and Car d’Lane, pairing people watching with a front row seat and fabulous Italian cuisine. Lasagna is his favorite dish while his wife, Kathy enjoys the chicken piccata. They both love the salads, Caesar or chop chop.

Tito’s also offers a full-service bar complete with specialty cocktails such as an Italian Margarita. Or enjoy a glass or two of house wine with your meal from the honor bar on your table. When asked to name favorite beverages, Steve listed the huckleberry dry martini and the Tuscan Slam, made with rum and vodka.

Specialties of the house like the Tuscan Rib-Eye and the Baked Salmon Oreganata are listed on the menu with the unique Goat Cheese Pizza.

“It’s just great food at reasonable prices and the downtown location is fun,” according to Steve. We think Tito Macaroni himself would be pleased with the description.
