Who's Cheryl Klein?

Sales Manager for The Village at Riverstone, she’s active in the Coeur d’Alene Chamber and the Women in Business networking group.

Cheryl Klein and her husband, Kevin are lifetime Coeur d’Alene residents, enjoying everything the area has to offer. The Kleins ski in the winter and boat in the summer, taking every opportunity to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. They also enjoy Michael D’s for what Cheryl describes as the best breakfast in town. "When our son is home from college, we head to Michael D’s. When my husband and I just want to enjoy a day off with each other, we always start with breakfast at Michael D’s. Or if it’s a rainy Saturday morning and we just want a little "sunshine", Michael D’s is perfect," said Cheryl.

She loves seeing people they know and the personal attention from Michael D himself. "He always asks about our family and what our plans are for the day."

Cheryl often orders oatmeal, claiming it’s the best anywhere. Topped off with a cup of Market Spice Tea, it’s the perfect way to start the day. Kevin’s favorite breakfast is the Pasquale Scrambler and son, Chad, is a fan of any of the Top Ten Omelettes.

"Whenever we have out-of-town guests we take them to Michael D’s. Not only do they get to enjoy a fabulous breakfast but they also experience the hometown hospitality of the DePasquale family," she said.

The first meal of the day is a important to the Kleins and they wholeheartedly recommend a hearty breakfast at Michael D’s.

About Michael D’s: The restaurant is at the east end of Sherman Ave. at 203 Lake Coeur d’Alene Drive. The building was once The Boat Drive-In, a popular teen hangout in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Owner Michael D’Pasquale is a fixture in the restaurant, a gracious host who serves coffee to those waiting to be seated. The menu is a fun read.
